- Hi, I'd recommend Visual C++ 4.0 if you can afford it, since most
- professional work in the Intel world is done with it. If you're
- interested in a good, cheap compiler to get started and just learn the
- language (without doing Windows programming), Turbo C++ for DOS is
- really the ticket.
